With inflatable towable devices, it's all about the thrill of speed while riding the boat's wake, and the key to speed is reducing friction. With Sevylor's Sharkglide line of towables, the company has developed an innovative material that emulates shark skin, enabling it to move faster in the water, reduce drag, dry more quickly, and fold down to a more compact size. The Sharkglide Delinquent is a one-person device, measures 55 by 60 inches (W x D), constructed of durable 30-gauge PVC with additional 22-gauge PVC on the bottom. Four handles are well-placed for gripping in different riding positions, and neoprene knuckle guards help protect your hands. A patent-pending belt-loop system provides extra security, while Double Lock and Mini Double Lock valves prevent air loss.

  • One person inflatable towable
  • Sharkglide skin with 20% less drag
  • Airtight system, guaranteed not to leak
  • Double Lock valve for fast inflation, deflation
  • Four handles with neoprene knuckle guards
  • Neoprene knee and elbow pads
  • Belt loop tow system
  • Shorter drying times, more compact storage
  • Five-foot diameter

This Sevylor product includes a limited 90-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

About Sevylor
The road from Sevylor's founding in 1948 to its current role as the dominant supplier of a wide range of inflatables -- such as kayaks, boats, and towables -- is a long one, with original inventions and innovations along the way. Established in a city suburb of Vitry, France not long after WWII, by electronics engineer Berco Grimbert, Sevylor originally built electrical accessories, with a side business dedicated to using its high-frequency welding machines to manufacture PVC consumer goods. The first inflatable to receive wide notice was a small bathtub called the Dou Dou. Perfect for postwar France, the inflatable tub was portable, practical, easy to clean, durable, and, best of all, affordable.

After moving to the picturesque Alsatian village of Buhl, the company expanded into developing valves, pumps, boats, inflatable pools, and a variety of water toys. In the ensuing years, Sevylor first developed a PVC that had memory," meaning it could return to its original shape regardless of temperature, then released the now ubiquitous inflatable pool mattress with headrest and circular pockets. In 1986, the company invented the Ski Bob, a turning point in the evolution of towables.

Today, Sevylor's innovative designs include tenders, hunting and fishing boats, specialty boats and kayaks, towables, snow tubes, air beds, pool floats, river tubes, swim and sport rings, and more. "
